Newsletter 2019 March

Newsletter 2019 March

March is madness month for basketball fans, but also for St.Patrick's Day, Pi Day and our favorite Daylight Savings Day. Daylight savings is the first indicator that spring is on the way and time to make OUTSIDE plans! Most importantly March is MS Awareness Month; a time to help educate people not affected by MS understand what MS really means. The National MS Society recently reported on a landmark study by leading experts estimating that nearly 1 million adults are living with MS in the United States…

Newsletter 2019 February

Newsletter 2019 February

I have heard February described as the month of night. According to the Washington Post, February is one of the most disliked month of the year.

As usual we see this as an opportunity to make February a more liked month. Many studies have been released in January and February 2019 stating exercise is GOOD! There's even a study about how ballroom dancing is good for people with MS!

February is for exercising in the great outdoors without heat issues. That makes February the best two-for-one month. Exercise is good for the mind, metabolism, anti-aging and less heat means easier exercise. Now that’s a bargain that can stand up to July…

Newsletter 2018 September

Now that we are past Labor Day and school is back in session, summer fun seems to be in the rear view mirror; but is it? Just last week we still had temps in the upper 80’s and low 90’s. I know the mental space is for us to prepare for winter and not buy another swimsuit. How accurate is this thinking?…

Newsletter 2018 June

Newsletter 2018 June

Looney Juney is here. June is one of our favorite moths of the year because it has the longest day of the year. The summer solstice has been celebrated from ancient times to now. We like to think of it as the shiniest day off the year, think of it, more Sun = more Fun so get up and get out and enjoy it (as long as it is not too hot, and if it is then take your UnderCool with you) all jokes aside please be safe out there, getting hurt or worse is no fun.
